NOTICIA – Masa dice: “Nunca había caido tan bajo ”

Jesús Gil, “Masa”, aún no se atreve a darle la cara a sus progenitores. Hace varios días que no habla con ellos desde que provocó el aluvión de críticas de toda una sociedad que pidió su “cabeza” luego de que en pleno programa de televisión le agarró las partes íntimas al transexual Mía Cepeda.
“Estoy triste y arrepentido. Es una vergüenza para mi familia, para mis amigos, para el medio en el que trabajaba, para la sociedad y para mí mismo como profesional. Nunca había caído tan bajo en mi carrera, siento un dolor muy grande en mi alma por lo que he provocado”, expresó Masa en una entrevista con el periódico elCaribe.
La historia reciente de la televisión dominicana no registra un caso de tal envergadura (atizado por las redes sociales) de un presentador que haya faltado a la moral y a los principios éticos a través de los medios de comunicación.
Masa es el que ha cargado con todo el peso del reclamo que sugiere producciones de más calidad y que promuevan las buenas costumbres en la pantalla chica local.
No le ha valido que pida perdón ante la Comisión de Espectáculos Públicos, las críticas de sus propios colegas y del público en general han calentado más el panorama farandulero.
El último nocaut que recibió Gil fue de la misma empresa (Telemicro) que le brindó apoyo durante mucho tiempo, la cual decidió sacar del aire su programa “0 es 3”, que se transmitía de lunes a viernes por Digital 15.
“No he tenido tranquilidad espiritual. Fue algo que yo provoqué, no justifico lo que hice, pero estoy arrepentido de corazón, no para complacer a nadie, sino a mí mismo como ser humano y como profesional.
“Toda persona que comete un error y se arrepiente espera una segunda oportunidad. Sé que la decisión de Telemicro es velando por las buenas costumbres, para que la televisión llegue con entretenimiento, pero no con algo aberrante como lo que hice”, sentenció.
